30 Days Writing Challenge: Day 11 My Siblings

Me and my sister went to the same school. We were always late, but it didn't bother us much. We were only two years apart, I think we don't really share a typical brother-sister buddy bond. We talk less with each other.

School was a rush, and our memories of those days are kind of fuzzy now. But I do remember the times we walked home together or had fights. I think I was kinda annoyed by some things she did like waiting for me to finish the icecream or copying my things kinda

As we got older, things started to change. I always thought it would be cool to have a little sister I could look out for. My sister was pretty mature for her age. Sometimes, I felt like she was more grown-up than me! And most of the people around thought I was the younger one. It did have some effect on me being a "brother". I didn't have to look out for her as she was well capable of that.

Also, I'm not the kind of big brother who tries to be overprotective. She does her thing, and I do mine. I think that's what our parents taught too.

Now that we're not in the same place, I kinda miss her.

Looking back, I realize our bond got stronger as we got older. Even though we don't see each other every day or talk, the memories of our time together in school and the silly fights we used to do are part of my core memory.

I guess what I'm trying to say is the family is pretty awesome.

And no matter where we are, the connection we share is something pretty special. <3

Our lost love for science

We love the Avenger movies, we love Star Wars, we rant over the outlandish concepts of Inception or Back to the Future 😍. But how much do we love the Pythagoras theorem, General Relativity or the 2nd law of thermodynamics or how much we praise Newton, Tesla over Christopher Nolan or Steven Spielberg? Lately, the internet has seen a lot of mourning over the death of the Bollywood actor Sushanth Singh Rajput . It was quite shocking that he took his life at such a young age.
