The song was made by Jim Corce and was released in 1973, the same year to which Kitty Pryde sent back Wolverine’s consciousness to undo Mystique’s assassination of Trask in X-Men: Days of Future Past.

The song, Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This) by Eurythmics was released in 1983, the same year as the awakening of En Sabah Nur (Apocalypse), as well as all the other events in X-Men: Apocalypse.

The two songs were famous in the '70s-'80s and it was a reason why they were added to the movie. Another reason they say was the lyrics of these songs is that they mainly focus on time and dreams which is closely related to Quicksilver's superpowers. After the scene from the Xmen: Apocalypse, in which he saves others, where everyone seems to be dreamy, unknown of what happened.

Every other scene with Quicksilver was cool. Visual effects were dope and I personally like Evan Peters as Quicksilver.

We love the Avenger movies, we love Star Wars, we rant over the outlandish concepts of Inception or Back to the Future 😍.
